Try not to leave holes for a rare piece that you don't have!... so they say...
I say "try not to leave holes even for a common piece that you don't have, because you'll get screwed anyway!" Proof above where I'm waiting for the most common piece (the P shaped one)... One more move and I'd get a "Wasteful" if I don't fill using what I have in the toolbox.
